Here are a few things to do to get ready for the colder weather.

• Clean the gutters
• Clean windows and remove screens
• Trim back flowers and gardens
• Fall bulb planting or transplanting
• Touch-up exterior paint
• Caulk around windows/doors to help keep moisture and wind out
• Rake leaves
• Prep your snowblower
• Put away any hoses
• Buy a fall-scented candle
• Bake a pumpkin pie
• Haul out the blankets for the couch
• Bring out the boots and sweaters for this colder weather
• Decorate for fall!
